Our privacy promise

Last updated: 2026. This is a pre-launch summary of how we handle information. A full legal policy will accompany the product at launch.

The promise, in one breath

• We never track children. The child's device has no profiles, no advertising IDs, and no behavioural tracking.
• We never sell your data — not to advertisers, not to anyone.
• The child's device stays offline. Content lives on the box; it doesn't stream, report, or phone home about how it's used.
• You own your content and your device. The stories, movies and games are yours.

What we collect when you pre-register

Right now, before launch, the only thing we ask for is an email address (and optionally your first name) so we can tell you when WonderBox is ready. When you submit that form we also record:

• the date and time you signed up;
• which page you signed up from;
• a one-way hashed, shortened fingerprint derived from your IP address — used only to prevent spam and abuse, and which cannot be turned back into your real address;
• your browser's user-agent string (e.g. "Chrome on Windows"), for the same anti-abuse purpose.

We do not store your raw IP address, and we do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers on this website.

How we use your email

Only to contact you about WonderBox: a note when we launch, early-access details, and the occasional gentle update. That's it. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and one click removes you completely.

Who we share it with

Nobody, for advertising or profit — ever. We may use a reputable email-delivery service purely to send the launch emails you asked for, and trusted hosting to keep this site online. These providers process data only on our instructions and never receive your information to use for their own purposes.

The product itself

When WonderBox launches, the parent account you create will hold your login and the catalogue of content you approve. The child's device only ever holds the content you loaded onto it — no analytics about your child, no usage reporting, no advertising. Family voice recordings (like a grandparent's bedtime story) are shared only between the family members you invite.

Keeping it safe

Sign-up data is stored on secured servers, passwords are always stored salted and hashed (never in plain text), and connections to our services use encryption in transit. We keep only what we need, for as long as we need it.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe any time via the link in any email.
• Ask us to delete you — reply to any email and we'll remove your details from our pre-registration list.
• Ask what we hold — we're happy to tell you exactly what's on file for your address.

Children

This website and the pre-registration list are intended for parents and guardians, not children. WonderBox is built specifically so that a child using the device generates no personal data for us at all.
